RCSF Annual Meeting is fast approaching!

Please mark your calendars for the Board Meeting and Annual Meeting of the Members, which will take place on Saturday, May 4th from 12pm-3pm. Check back for a schedule breakdown soon!

Then, join us on Sunday, May 5th from 9am-12pm for the RCSF Alumni Workshop: Vocal Function for Lifelong Choir Singers led by the inimitable Liz Eschen, and stick around for the Holden Voice Program Spring Recital at 2pm!

Liz Eschen, Director of the Holden Voice Program and Teaching Fellow for the Radcliffe Choral Society, is a professional soloist and ensemble singer whose lifelong work and passion is to demystify vocal pedagogy and bring it into the choral rehearsal. In this workshop, she will be joined by colleague Trey Pratt, who works with voices of all ages through such organizations as Boston Children’s Chorus, Endicott College, and JourneySongs. They will give an overview of how the voice system works, share exercises to strengthen and coordinate the voice for optimal, sustainable use, and work with individual singers in the Masterclass portion of the event.

The entire workshop will be three hours, with the following breakdown:

9:00-10:00am Presentation

10:00-11:00am Masterclass & group sing (current RCS invited)

11:00-12:00pm Lunch provided for all RSCF and RCS participants

*2:00pm RSCF welcome to attend the Holden Voice Program Spring Recital

All participants will make some sounds, but if you are interested in singing for the one-on-one portion of the Masterclass, please email Liz directly at eschen@fas.harvard.edu.
